Platform for the "Results of the Online Inquiry of the National Council for Science, Technology, Knowledge, and Innovation (CTCI)"
This project has two parts and was a complete collaboration on the digital aspect of the Inquiry by the National Council for Science, Technology, Knowledge, and Innovation (CTCI). The Inquiry was an initiative of the National Council of CTCI, conducted during September and October 2021. Its goal was to gather background information for the construction of the National CTCI Strategy.
We invited various actors from the CTCI ecosystem and the public, through social media and the website, to identify obstacles and opportunities in the development of science, technology, knowledge, and innovation in Chile. We also aimed to identify national and global challenges where CTCI could play a more prominent role. In total, 628 members of the ecosystem participated through open-ended questions.
The first part of the project was related to conducting the inquiry, which was answered by various actors from the CTCI ecosystem and the general public. The second part involved creating a results platform for this inquiry. We wanted the platform to be simple so that the public could easily follow the results. Therefore, we decided to create a landing page with all the content organized by chapters. We also included texts to provide context to the different dimensions of the survey.
This approach allowed for a clear and accessible presentation of the data, facilitating understanding and analysis by all those interested in the development of the National CTCI Strategy.
