Geographies of Childhood: Breaking Down the Walls of the Selfish Giant
This project involved creating a website for the results and designing the report. Geographies of Childhood examines the relationship between children's well-being and urban space in the Aysén region, Chile, by evaluating public space design and its impact on children's daily practices.
The study emphasizes the importance of involving children in developing public spaces to promote integration and social cohesion. Children's participation indicates the quality of these spaces, influencing safety perceptions, social cohesion, cognitive development, and autonomy.
My role included gathering and organizing the data, developing the web platform, and designing the report, showcasing the value of integrating children's perspectives in urban planning.
